Idowu Oluwaseun is a Nigerian contemporary artist who works primarily with acrylic paint, but also uses oil, watercolor, charcoal, and pastel. His work is based on the idea of conceptual expression that uses realism as a powerful tool to illustrate a narrative. Idowu uses social commentary as a tool for introspection. His visuals are acutely political and direct in their criticism of government, lifestyles, and cultures.
After college in Germany, he relocated and now lives in Houston, Texas.
